The Miami-Dade County Auditorium (MDCA) is pleased to announce three performances of Objects In The Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear by Abel Berenguer. The show is a “culmination of international dance exchange between” Miami choreographer-performer Abel Berenguer, and Havana choreographer-performer Sandra Remy. The piece is an exploration into the difference between expectations and reality when it comes to life in Miami after Havana—from the sunshine to the “heartless paradise of a magic city.”
The show is only in Miami-Dade for a brief amount of time. Audiences can see the show Friday and Saturday, June 28 and June 99, at 8:30 P.M., as well as Sunday, June 30, at 3:00 P.M. The show takes place at MCDA on Stage Black Box Theatre, and is only $25 for an amazing show.
There are a vast number of awe-inspiring shows that are occurring this summer at the Miami-Dade County Auditorium. The Hot Theatre Summer Series includes Teatro Avante’s 34th International Hispanic Theatre Festival of Miami, the ARCA Images production of Estaba en Casa y Esperaba que Llegara la Lluvia, and more.
