Dr. Wilson DuMornay and Broward Ear, Nose and Throat Services are pleased to announce additional cosmetic surgery procedures for their practice in Plantation and Fort Lauderdale.

Dr. DuMornay is a leading otolaryngologist who specializes in balloon sinuplasty, rhinoplasty and other services that treat breathing impairment as well as visible defects.

Rhinoplasty also known as a “nose job” by patients is performed to enhance the proportions of the nose. It can also correct impaired breathing caused by structural defects in the sinus passages. Rhinoplasty may adjust the proportions of the nose and nasal passages  in relation to facial balance, nose width at the bridge or in the size and position of the nostrils, nose profile with visible humps or depressions on the bridge. Rhinoplasty in combination with other procedures can treat nasal asymmetry, chronic congestion and post nasal drip.

Balloon Sinuplasty is a minimally invasive sinus surgery procedure performed by (ENT) doctors that opens sinus passages to relieve sinus pressure associated with chronic sinusitis. The Balloon Sinuplasty unlike traditional sinus surgery requires no cutting and there’s no removal of bone and tissue.

During this procedure a small, balloon-like catheter is used to open up sinus passageways and facilitate drainage of the mucus that builds up in patients suffering from chronic sinusitis symptoms. Once the sinus balloon is inflated, it restructures and widens the walls of the sinus passageway. Additionally, the inflated balloon helps to maintain the integrity of the sinus lining.

Dr. DuMornay received his general surgery training while attending Tulane Medical Center at Charity hospital, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He returned to New York to study in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Alert Einstein University at Montefiore Medical Center. He continued on with his education receiving his postgraduate training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, in New York City. He later attended fellowship training at the University of Miami for Head and Neck Oncology with Microvascular Reconstruction.
